Abstract
The query of logistics and audience reception is one regarding relative relatability as an audience member. In this context, the focus is on sibling ownership within television and how it correlates to audience reception and connection to the overall television show. This research seeks to comprehend and present the weight of how the accuracy of sibling ownership and relationships portrayed in television translates to ratings and audience connection.
Explaining your interests and passions is difficult on the best of days.
Even now, when thinking of how to phrase my thoughts and write them out, I am reluctant to do it. The fear of scaring off the right words is imminent. What if I misrepresent myself?
If there is anything I've learned from my life thus far, it is the power of stories and perception. If I say to imagine a cup, will you see a glass or a mug? Maybe you won't see anything in your mind's eye, but instead, you'll see the word "cup." It's very much a "signifier" and "signified" situation but with the added caveat of one's personal intention of what their created content comes across as has more subjectivity despite the surface of the creator's intention...
As a national organization with camps and programs serving children with cancer and
blood disorders, Camp Quality Canada has established our Aquatics Manual to assist
camps in managing aquatics programs in a safe, responsible and proactive way. This
manual was created to ensure consistency in aquatics operations across all Camp
Quality programs. Because of the unique structure of our organization, renting
campsites, it is extremely important that each regional camp is consistent in the
operations of all aquatics programming.
This manual will serve as a guide to our Camp Organizing Committees and Aquatics
team members to ensure that they have a thorough understanding of Camp Quality’s
policies and procedures and industry camping standards. Camp Quality’s policies are
based on the highest standard provided across all Camping Associations. While
camping standards may differ in each province, all regional camps are required to
follow Camp Quality’s policies and procedures.
“My internship experience at Digital Extremes was incredibly engaging and fulfilling. Each day, I woke up excited to hop on the computer and meet with the Community team to discuss the latest happenings within the game community and plan for upcoming updates. Some of my weekly tasks included presenting findings on creator content feedback, attending weekly livestreams to cover updates in real-time, and participating in playtests to determine the best practices and features for upcoming releases.”
The Commitment to Dynamic Change for anti-racism and anti-oppression (AR/AO) is a framework that
understands that championing AR/AO is not just the right thing to do, it is the smart thing to do –
innovation and progress are rooted in the inclusion and celebration of diverse people, backgrounds and
experiences. This framework builds upon numerous different works done to date and provides a foundation for
the development of new iterative goals and metrics intended to advance AR/AO within CityStudio and its
broader sphere of influence. Further, this framework intends to enable critical and active work that maximizes
the impact of CityStudio’s efforts by engaging in a collaborative, dynamic process that systematically and
comprehensively advances AR/AO work.
A prevalent issue within the City of London’s infrastructure is the pollution of the Deshkan Ziibi River (Antler River in Anishinaabemowin). Also known as the Kahwy^hatati (River in ONYOTA:KA), or Thames River, the Deshkan Ziibi River has had prevailing sanitary issues since 1995 for some Indigenous communities (London Environmental Network, 2021). (City of London, 2021).
Since 2018, the river has been used as a dump for sewage and rainwater that flows downstream. The river flows through many Indigenous communities, including the Oneida First Nations community (Global News, 2019). However, the Oneida community’s water distribution system hasn’t met provincial standards since approximately 2006.
